motor set is designed to allow for a variety of slip
ring options including traditional electrical slip
rings, and new single or dual fiber optic rings that
allow for the transmission of both digital and/or analog
data. With data transmission speeds up 2.3 GB/second,
there are fewer data collection restrictions. The noiseless
transmission of digital data over the fiber optic ring
allows the precise collection of delicate physiological
signals, with no static.

unmatched motion control: low torque ripple (.1%)
and constant feedback loop provides precise position
validation resulting in increased confidence in
measurements; the motor is tuned electronically,
thereby reducing the cost of operation.

and Fiber Optic Slip Rings – Support
transmission of both traditional analog and 32
bit digital data. The new fiber optic rings provide
expanded data collection capabilities, and the
noiseless transmission allows collection of more
delicate, physiological signals.
